Feng Xingyuan is the co-founder and board member of Cathay Institute for Public Affairs as well as co-founder and member of Chinese Hayek Society. His research focus is economic and social order and is an expert in study on Austrian School of Economics, Freiburger School of Economics and Constitutional Economics. He has authored a number of books such as “The EMU and the Euro”, “Reducing regional Disparities in the EU and Germany,” “Rural Enterprise Finance and Informal Rural Organizational Innovations in China.” Feng Xingyuan has also co-authored the book “The European Constitution Making and Implication for China” and published dozens of newspaper articles and journals in China and abroad. Since 2006 he is Member of the Editorial Board of the Electronic Journal of Sustainable Development (EJSD), a joint venture between the University of Buckingham and International Policy Network, England. He is also Editor-in-chief of a new book series “Theory of Order and Economics Series”.

Liu Junning is the founder of Cathay Institute of Public Affairs (CIPA). He earned his Ph.D. in political science at Beijing University. He is the author of several works, including Republic, Democracy, Constitutionalism: Studies of Liberal Thought and Beijing University and the Liberal Tradition in Modern China.

Jianxun WangJianxun Wang
Associate Professor of Law

Jianxun Wang is Associate Professor of Law at China University of Political Science and Law. He received his Master's degree in Law from Peking University and Ph.D. in Political Science from Indiana University. Wang is interested in constitutional law, federalism, public choice, and local governance, and published several journal articles and a translated volume.

Associate Director, Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies (RGICS)

P.D. Kaushik is working as an Associate Director at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies (RGICS). He has an engineering degree, an MBA and a Ph.D. During his Ph.D., he was awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship. He has wide experience of industry and academics. He was also associated with consultancy work for the FAO (Food and Agricultural Organisation), Commonwealth Secretariat and World Bank. He is a visiting Faculty at leading business schools in Delhi. He has publications on Policy issues emerging from electronic commerce and WTO. He has co-authored two books on the WTO.

Dr. Muhammad Chatib Basri Dr. Muhammad Chatib Basri
Executive Director, Institute for Economic and Social Research,

Dr. Basri was born in Jakarta, 22 August, 1965 and finished his study at Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia in 1992. He obtained his Master of Economic Development in 1996 from Australian National University where he also got his Ph.D. in Economics in 2001.

His main expertises are in International Trade; Macroeconomics; and Political Economy. Dr. Basri has worked as Research Assistant to Prof. Hal Hill at the Department of Economics, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University, in 1994 until 2001. Presently he is Research Associate with the Indonesia Project, Economics Division, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, Australian National University, Canberra, since October 2003. Since 1995 he has also lectured at the Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia.

Dr. Patunru obtained his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His main expertises are in International Trade, Development Economics, Public Policy, Natural Resource Economics, Environmental Economics, and Econometrics. He is now the Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Indonesia since 2004.

Farhan Bokhari
Journalist, Financial Times

Farhan Bokhari has been the Pakistan Correspondent for the Financial Times, the British newspaper, for over 16 years. During this time, he has written for other publications including The Economist magazine, the NEWS-Pakistan’s largest newspaper, and the Dubai based GULF NEWS. His main interests include economic and political evolution of Pakistan and its surrounding region with a view to the future development of this area. Mr. Bokhari’s other interests include regular writings on Islamic finance and economic affairs – an area of interest that has frequently allowed him to travel to the Middle East.

A graduate of London’s City University, the London school of economics and Canada’s Simon Fraser University, Mr. Bokhari’s professional work has exposed him to a variety of events and venues, ranging from important political and corporate decision makers to the ordinary decision makers in daily life. His long standing professional work on Pakistan’s economic environment has made Mr. Bokhari a regular commentator on the country’s annual budgets. He has made frequent television appearances on this count as well as other themes of interest to viewers.

Prof Dr. Kriengsak Charoenwongsak is an Economist, a First-Class Honours graduate, with degrees from Monash University, Australia, and Harvard University, USA. He is a lecturer and a prolific writer.

Cong Minh Nguyen
Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Vietnam Securities Review

Currently, Mr. Nguyen Minh Cong is a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the bilingual Vietnam Securities Review (Vietnamese and English languages), published by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam, Hanoi. He holds a master degree from Banking Academy, Hanoi in Finance and Banking. He is also a freelance writer for newspaper, such as Vietnam Financial Time published by Ministry of Finance and Vietnam Business Forum Magazine published by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
