Mr. Walter Klitz

Walter Klitz, the Project Director of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation´s office in Seoul, was recently interviewed by the owner of the German blog "Nordkorea-Info" ("North Korea Info") via e-mail. Mr Klitz, a seasoned expert on Korean politics who has traveled to the North on numerous occasions, gave a glimpse of his personal experiences with the military regime. The North Korean currency reform in December 2009, economic development as a factor promoting peace between the two divided states and the difficulties of outside observers in understanding the North are some of the main topics of the interview.
